Yesterday was a day of days! Actually, the day before was the beginning. I got a letter from Saul after 2 weeks of nothing, it was a small wonderful letter and I almost nearly cried when I took it out of the post box! I cried when I read his letter, I'd been so worried! He says he's a bit anxious, not really moving around cos he's confined to his cell 24/7, no fresh air but he has a lot of time to plan about the future, dream, read and write since he's got peace and quiet and that being away from me is painful. It's for me to be away from him, too. <3 No visits yet, but when I can visit him, I'm going the first chance I get, I don't care if I have to ride in a trunk of a car, I'll be there!!! I made a letter for him, put a few pictures in there. Not a lot but I'm sure he still loves any pictures and letters I give him. <3 <3 <3

I was going to start making different parts of my cosplay yesterday but I don't have any black thread! Hard to imagine, yes? And since all my mom's sewing stuff's in the barn right now (yes, we have a barn-shaped storage shed in my yard, we be Amish :p) her stuff's out of reach. I ran some errands and meant to get some but forgot >.< Ditzy me.

I was taking a nap when I got a most wonderful wake-up call: Tako called me! I was so happy to hear from him! I hadn't heard from him in a while, either! He's been busy and work and such which is good, I'm happy he has a good job right now! I'm hoping that I get to see him soon! We talked about a little bit of everything and every time we said we'd get off the phone, we'd start talking more! I haven't had a really good conversation like that with him in such a long time, I miss Tako! I don't have a lot of good core friends anymore but the ones who are true blue have shone through and through. (I swear, I did NOT mean for that to rhyme!)

At school we had a potluck (where half the people forgot to bring food >.<) and a fake baby shower; my teacher and a male staff member, who are best buds, have gained weight since they started working there together so she told us he was pregnant! It was a great gag, he has a good sense of humor and played along with us! We decorated the room, even played games! I won at the one where you have to take away someone's party favour when they cross their legs! :D I had a great time, I don't know why, I just had fun doing the whole thing. Things like this usually get me sad, but this cheered me up a lot, knowing someday that it will be my time to have my time to glow and grow, celebrate life in me. I still think about the one I was supposed to have here now, out of tragedy sprouts new growth I suppose. Though I'll never forget her (I still believe she was a girl) or her father, I'll do better do move on and make the most of the life I had left so I can be a good mother someday as I would have tried to have been now.

When I got home, a friend called me and wanted to go drinking. When we found it was kind of late to be going anywhere nice for a drink for a while, we decided to do something spontaneous and go to a casino in San Jacinto called Saboba. Matty was texting me throughout the night, it's always fun to talk to him any way he can! ^.^ It was a drive, I tell you! After the freeway, twisty roads! Thank goodness I trust the person driving!!! When we got there, we immediately got carded, then got some grub. I never had a tastier roast beef or potato salad!

No luck getting drinks their, either, they stop at a certain time. >.< He taught me how to play roulette where I promptly lost $20, lost another $20 on video slots. We went to the non-smoking section where we settled side by side playing video slots. I played a five cent game were a cactus was the ringleader of a balloon carnival. O.O Yeah. I kept losing money, then winning money. When I'd win almost half the money I put in, I'd cash out the ticket and put new money in. I was down to my last dollar where I won $32!!! Added to the other tickets I cashed out, I got my original $40 that I lost back! :D So I didn't win any money but I didn't lose any either! I call that a win-win!

When we were coming back, I was tired. It was another hour and a half drive so I knocked out. I heard the song Kids by MGMT on the radio and thought Le Tigre was calling me LOL cos that's my ring tone for him. :p When I got home, I texted Matt that I was okay and fell asleep with Saul's newest letter facing me. It means so much that I got it.

This morning: woke up at noon having come home at 4:30am and totally spaced on my car being parked in the street. Guess who got another ticket for being parked in the street during street cleaning? >.< My brother is having an anger fit right now so I can't leave my room right now. It's not right that I have to be dead bolted in my room cos of him but this is the way it is and there's nothing I can do about it. *sigh* I'm still happy, I had a great night and I'm very blessed that I had such a lovely day! I hope for more good days and better times ahead.
