2009-07-13 - 2:55 p.m. First off I'd like to say Thank You to everyone who expressed their concern from the last post, I try not to makes those too often but it's like clockwork that I do. >.< I'm feeling tons better, and I'll try to not be so paranoid, I'm going to get help. Since a bit between the time of that post and now here's all the adventure I've been getting into: Friday: I took my grandmother to the doctor's in Imperial for her diabetes check. She always went with my grandfather to these and she was talking a lot about him, naturally, and talked to him a lot during the day. Grandma got a little confused of where to go and said, "Come on, Honey, show me where to go, you always showed me where to go." Doctor was sad to hear about Grandpa's passing. We then went to Commerce Casino and got my car valet parked, ohhh!!!, then ate at the buffet inside. T'was delishious! :p Grandma told Grandpa that everything was alright cos I was taking his place taking care of her, but I'm not as good a eater as he is! hhehe. We then went to the Citadel shopping plaza where I hadn't been in ages! Then market and then home where I took off from there since my uncle was going to come back and Grandma was going to lay down for a while. She hugged me and thanked me for everything. I love my grandma and love helping her. Capt. Wong Wei, would you know anything about these? LOL You were born to be a chef! "Hope" etched into the shopping cart at Superior market in Monteray Park. And my feet clad in fishnet shoes. My piggy toe sticks out. ^.^ When I came home I took a nap, when I awoke that's when I started feeling that horrible paranoia and made the post about it. After about an hour or so, I calmed down and decided to meet up the Otaku gang at a bar for a while, just to be social and force myself outside. When I got there, the whole gang was talking, including Tako who I was hoping would be there! And to my surprise, Rizu from the nerd website was there in the flesh! She was a delight to hang out with and sings very well! I headed out early cos, for the life of me, I cannot relate to drunk people in a mass while I'm sober, it's like they speak a foreign tongue that I can barely understand. I had fun, but after a while it was too much for me. I hung out with Matty for a while then went home. It was my first real outing after my grandfather's passing. Saturday: the book I bought, it's such an awesome conversation piece! at FYE, thinking of you, Matty! at Spencer's Gifts, more stuff for Matty! I LOLed for about 15 minutes at Barnes & Nobel staring at this pic from The Complete Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook. The look on the cat's face is hilarious! From the special edition version of Ghost World. I need $35!!! look what you nerds have done to the literary classics... Le Tonzy engrossed in books, not please by my lens! Sunday: This was the most random day ever, it was great! Woke up early to get to church. The new priest, Father Mike, is way awesome, he's just fantastic! I really really want to help again in the church but I just don't know how. I'm going to ask Frank (Pam's dad) how I could go about getting myself in again since he helps out quite a bit. Came home, changed, then went to Le Tigre's house where we watched the first disk of Trinity Blood and he was kind enough to make us burgers and tater tots. Yum! We talked some before he took a nap cos, poor thing was tired, hadn't gotten any sleep yet! Went home again to discover dad at his mom's house (she was in the hospital after a fall but is fine now), showed again, changed again to meet my nerd website friend Calvin at the Tournament of Champions at East LA college, which is two turns from my grandma's house! I met up with him and talked a bit with his wife and departed for my grandma's but she wasn't home. Welcome to East LA College! I especially like the no gambling sign warming So I then texted Tak to see what he was up to, he wasn't doing anything so I went up to see him and we went to eat delicious Korean BBQ! The food was great, and so was the company! ;D While Tako went out for a cig, he saw two guys getting into a brawl at the bar across the street and some lady in a bikini walked out and talked to the cops. We guessed it was a strip bar! After we got to his house, we drank some wine, played with his awesome little kitty, and put on Moulin Rouge which was totally a trip and a half to watch, for true! We then started watching random movies like Fan Boys, (which was not what I expected, I totally loved it!) V for Vendetta, Meet the Robinsons, Across the Universe and 101 Dalmatians (cartoon). In between that we went for a ciggy run where Tako texted my friend Matty drunkenly "UtteessssAIggoOmenn" as "Going on a cig run". O.O t9 texting, you are not Tako's friend! I had great fun with him, he's the kind of person I can spend hours and hours talking to and there'd never be a moment of silence, it's so cool. :) I was sad when he said he may be going away again, I *heart* that guy so much but I understand why he's thinking of it. Meow :( But I'm still goign to miss him lots and lots. Ah, but for now, I'll be random cat and pop in now and then! Tako made me a rose out of a discarded cigarette butt! Delightful! ^.^ Tako's dry erase board, the red is in permanent marker >.< Tako's kitty, Spaghetti. This cat has a look of disdain on his face equal to that of Tako's look of disdain!!! THIS CAT IS PERFECT FOR TAKO!!! After I left his house, I popped in on Matty, he had his tattoo retouched so I was trying to be oh-so careful not to touch his arm! I also got back the hair clip that I'd left there that he kept held hostage! I like how he stays up late like a vampire, makes my insomnia less lonely. hehe It was almost 6am by the time I left there and drove home very happy and very reflective of the random day I had and the people I'd seen. When I got home I took a little time to watch the sun come up a bit. I will always love sunrises more than sunsets; there's something very magical and wonderful watching the sky go from black to blue to red to yellow, slowly turning on the colours and sounds of the world, waking up everything and warming up the sky. It's like watching two worlds transition, the night passing away to make for the new day is just too much for me to describe in words. I love dawn, I love the dark before the dawn, it's seriously very very enchanting to me. Today, going back to schoool, sweet sweet air conditioning, er, I mean school! heheh *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* It won't be long now, till I belong to you |
